If i ever meet the person who told me that spiders cannot climb pipes I'm going to punch them - be warned!
This morning there was a giant spider in the bath tub and instead of freaking out - like normal! I decided to get rid of it myself.
Attempt 1: put the shower on and hope it got sucked away
Outcome: it curled up, then when the water stopped it uncurled and tried to run away
Attempt 2: redirected the shower head and yelled at the spider
Outcome: the spider got sucked into the plug but was so big that it got stuck. Again as soon as the water stopped it uncurled and started to get away.
Attempt 3: turned on the tap full blast hot and cold, yelled more obsentities and told him that I didn't like him
Outcome: he finally gave up and whooshed away!! Yay
Although I did put in the plug when I had my shower incase he came back up!

I brought out ink convention tickets yesterday! I'm v excited!

Of course, 19 countries is a little below average for a European or Aussie, but far more than most Americans will ever see up close.
Well done you!! I can't even stand to be in the same room once I've spotted one.
My Nana has a pay as you go phone, she just isn't overly technologically minded, she has promised to give it a chance now though, thankfully.
I've given her lots of hugs, she is slowly regaining her confidence, but I doubt that she'll ever really be comfortable out by herself again. The Police have had no joy, and we're not holding our breath.
People can really be horrid, it's a sad time when an elderly lady gets mugged in broad daylight, in the middle of a supermarket, and no one helps. I wonder how they would feel if it happened to them? Society is mostly take and no give, sadly.
