Last night I was asked if I'd changed my mind and I said no, like Fry said I doubt anything would change in the long term and at the end of the night Stuart (General manager) and Daniel (food and beverage manager) gave me a giant bunch of flowers.
I was standing at reception and I felt someone was behind me, I turned around and got a face full of flowers
me: wow are these for me?
Daniel: yup they're from me and Stuart to say thanks for all your hard work
me: oh wow, thanks, hey hang on weren't these used in the wedding fayre you had downstairs?
Daniel: umm well yes but we did by them for you!
Me: oh lol!
So my bunch of flowers had been working all day to promote the hotel for weddings! The head chef and the receptionists all told me not to go and that things would get better, but I'm now happy that I'm going!
