I did a snowboarding taster at the w/end and I LOVED it! I totally fell on my arse 80% of the time and thought I'd ripped my knees off when I fell at speed but it was so much fun!
We had to go down the slope diagonally with a instructor holding us and I went too fast (they tell you how to go fast but not how to slow down!) and the instructor had to let me go otherwise she would've fallen down aswell, but as soon as she let go I freaked out and fell over lol. It really hurt too but instead of crying I started laughing hysterially dfor some reason! The instructors thought I was crying and really hurt and called down to see if I was ok and then they were like hmm how weird she's laughing!
It was only an hour and Pete was like total pro until a bunch of people stood in front of where he was going to land and he had to swerve around them and fell over. My sister wasn't great and she got cramp and hurt her knee, but afterwards she said she's do it again.
I ache like hell though! You'd think after two hot showers, lots of painkillers and lots of sleep and sitting down I'd be fixed but nope. Anyway,back to normal life at least until the Autumn when i'm hopefully going to take snow boarding lessons

Sounds like you had fun, when I went snowboarding i was constantly on my ass too!!! Fun though.
