At the weekend I watched The Pick of Destiny with Tenacious D in it, quite funny if not a tab random! I also watched The Notorious Betty Page and I was a tad disappointed about this film.
In the movie it was implied that she was abused by her father, she had a physically abusive husband and was gang raped, yet she was still really religious, but she seemed so naive.
I assumed that a fetish models had a quiet confident and strength about them and had "street" knowlegde, but in the film BP seemed to trust all men and was willing to try everything and was just so innocent, its like in horror movies when some young thing runs somewhere that you know the killer is going to find them and you find yourself yelling at the screen "no fool no!!". It's just didn't feel right to me, however it was an ok film and now I'm intrigued to find out more about her.
