It's twelve degrees outside and it was 67 two days ago...WTF?
We shopped for new kitchen cabinets this weekend and we decided that our best option will be to purchase unfinished oak cabinets and finish them ourselves. We are looking at around $2200 for the cabinets, counter tops, sink, new dishwasher and a microwave with an over the stove vent hood built in. Our tax refund was $2000 so we'll have to charge a few hundred bucks to get it done. I think we'll have them here in a few weeks. We'll have to hold off for a little while on the new flooring but it'll get done before the summer party.
We got out 300 CD changer back from repairs last weekend and it's finally working like a charm. Come to find out that when we brought it in, back in September, they did absolutely nothing but clean it and send it back...grrr. This time they changed the laser head unit and the eye. The weird thing is that last time I had to rename all of the CDs when I loaded them back in which took HOURS..this time when however the titles all stayed. I'm thinking they purposely reset all the titles last time just to make us think they worked on it. The bottom line is that our 700 disk system is up and running again.

Well, we decided to change the design when I got there. He said "I think it'll look better like this..." and I said "Hey, that's awesome, much better than what I had down!". So we went with a better design. It's also left me a little space in the middle for me to add some funky stuff if I want.
