I am sad.

Not because Kerry lost, but because of how people my age are treating this election in general.

Please be aware, I am *not* saying this to argue with anyone. I do not consider myself a very politically passionate person, in fact this year is the first year I voted. I am posting this not to get into a debate, but just to posts my thoughts on the subject since that is what this site seems to revolve around right now!

I am a bush supporter. Not necessarily because I believe in EVERY little thing he says, or because I believe that the war we are in is justified, or because I just KNOW in my heart of hearts he would not lie to us about weapons of mass destruction, but simply because when it came down to it, I had to choose, and I chose him. I carefully researched all canidates and all issues, and did not take this lighty.

I just don't understand why people think the world is coming to an end because he has another 4 years in office? The president does not act alone. Is it not true that his advisors, his senate, etc. have the say in what happens in this world? This is not a dictatorship, it is democracy. And yes, I understand the Senate is a GOP maj and stuff like that, but some of these comments I see seem that half the people on this site want to move to Canada just because he is president! This is, and always will be America.

The world is not going to spin off it's axis.

With that being said, I am glad that each and everyone of you who voted did, and glad that we can express our opinions this way.
