I went for my second hike today. This time we only went about 3.5 miles. Next sunday we are going to do the longest one and make it about a 6 mile round trip. Who knew that beingout in the sun made you tan?
I start to feel bad for myself when my legs are burning, but then I realize that marines have to do this with 50 lb packs on their back and eat MRE's instead of the yummy luna bar I snacked on.
We walked through and up to all the burtn brush from the firestorm. The damage is breathtaking and very sad.
Tommorow is Monday..ughh!
On a lighter note, only 3 weeks until Vegas, I am so excited!
