bleh. i am an old poop. I went to Oakland this weekend for a little get together at Quinne's. HA! I am too old for these little parties, I have come to realize. I like to drink and smoke with SMALL crowds. I think I sat in the corner the whole time, but I was not about to get up and pretend that the ppl in this place weren't driving my social anxiety nuts.

really tho... i hate being out of my element. I was DAMN tired (from no sleep, too much work and this continuous body-pain-bullshit...., in another person's car and getting lost, wondering (AS USUAL, lol) whether or not I was supposed to take the FIRST 580, even tho, there is another one (like our "80" up here, how it is all split... and shit...) after it - way after it.
HA! It was totally worth it tho Quinne is a good host - she even cocoks! - from scratch! ::grin:: i'm sure it was all very good, but alas, she is not vegan/vegetarian...
er... it smelled hella good tho; she made crab/cream cheese wantons, by hand...

... I think the most comfortable i was there was in the beginning, and in the end. IN the beginning, there was not a lot of ppl there (4, inclucing me) and then in the end, Taye showed up...
I would've stayed then, cause at least then I had someone I knew and was comfortable with... but i was tired... I had offers to spend the night, but to be honest, as nice as they were to offer, I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep anyhow, and i hate to be a burdon/in the way...

I think it will be good to have just a girls night some time soon where we can all just chill and get to know each other without the hassle of a large social gathering interfering. I hope you come down and hang out more often!
