I had a similar type of send off myself (ginormous quantities of cocaine, nose bleeding all over the place, etc etc) and lasted about seven years... then decided to try some, ended up throwing out half of it... and now been another year or so!
Drugs suck when the fun goes out of them. That's for sure. For me, it was a social thing to do.
Of course, I still get phantom highs... tastes... smells... drips...
etc... but I'm not sure how common that is... but the mind is a powerful thing, right?
