i got promotion offers today, but unfortunately they were all 3+ hours worth of driving away, so i declined. hopefully something closer will open up soon.

i talked on the phone recently with my best friend from back home. his life has pretty much fallen apart since i left; strange enough, whenever i leave, everything does seem to get all crazy. its almost like i'm a muse for good luck--everyone around me has pretty good luck and their lives are always great, but it doesnt bleed through to me, so i'm always stuck the same way i always am. truthfully, i dont mind sacrificing my own happiness to make others happy, just as long as i've got good friends <3
