I think I'm gonna cancel my membership.. We're cutting back on spending so Lex can quit her job and stay at home in a couple months.. Plus I really don't hang out or post much any more.

Hmmm. I don't know about driving, but maybe fly... If I am ever in the area, I'd be happy to babysit. I have two other freinds who are expecting or have alreday had babies, so by the time I make it out there, I will be a babysitting pro! For some strange reason everytime I give Ian a bath, he's totally cool but when Alexis tries he freaks out.
You'd think that since she's pretty much the center of his world, he wouldn't mind getting baths from her but no.....

story of my life brother. as crazy as this sounds...i do not smoke at home but the second i'm out with a beer in my hand there i am at the cigarette machine forkin over big money for those fuckin things....
and i feel the same way about being that way around my kids so much so that when i come home from a night out i'm usually in the shower at 2 in the morning scrubbing myself silly...so that i don't reek like bar muck when my kids get up in the mornin.

but hey...i also wanted to say that even parents (actually ESPECIALLY parents) deserve a good buzz now and then. as well as all the other good things life has to offer. don't cheat yourself. same with alexis. take good care of eachother. and get out and have some fun. don't be afraid to leave the baby with some relative or a babysitter and get out and CUT LOOSE.
man, just because you became a parent, does not mean you are still not human or in need of good times, esp. with your lovely wife!! it is crucial that you focus on all things, and remember what is important all around. balance.
