Just took blood and urine tests for a life insurance policy(gotta be responsible n shit now that I'm gonna be a papa) and if nicotine shows up in my system I gotta pay a shitload more money for my coverage.

Any of you know how long it takes nicotine/tobacco to be completely out of your system? I haven't smoked in like 12 days or so.

I'm not sure how long it takes to get out of your system but you can always ask for a retest at a later date if you come up positive for nicotine. You can do this because many things can cause you to fail it, lots of specific foods and such can mess up blood and urine tests. For instance poppy seads like you find on hamburger buns can make you test positive for heroin.

Lex had a prenatal visit on Friday and her midwives think she's farther along due to the size of her belly and the way her uterus is uh... doing it's thing OR we're having twins.

Holy fucking shit!

We'll find out for sure in a couple weeks when they do the ultrasound.

You could set it up to play the "99 bottles of beer on the wall" song over and over as you drive it around suburbia on hot Saturday afternoons! That would be awesome!

You know there hasn't been real confirmation that there were acutally tornadoes. Weird, hm? Regardless, you know how the weather is here .. where I live, everything looks perfect .. but that YMCA and Pier 1 is only a mile away at the most. I drove by that today on my way to the State Museum (which is really nice, btw.. you should go). The weather here is so crazy. How's your area?

day 4 of not smoking and so far so good. I hope I don't become one fo those militant ex-smokers. Since most of my friends smoke that'd really suck ass if I did.

Anyway, look how big the belly is getting! Crazy... Last night she said she felt something moving. I think it was just gas. At least that's what it smelled like.

DOH!! I put some leftover cake in the oven the other day and forgot about it. So today I go to make some french fries and turn the oven to 450F and walk away to let it warm up. 15 min later the entire first floor of the house is full of smoke. Lucky for me the fire alarm didn't go off.

Started the new job yesterday and found out I had to take a drug test. I don't smoke much ganja and I took a 1hour detox solution a couple hours before I took the test but I'm still freaked out about it. Hope I pass... I'm digging the job and we needs money to get the baby room going.
