I'm not sure how long it takes to get out of your system but you can always ask for a retest at a later date if you come up positive for nicotine. You can do this because many things can cause you to fail it, lots of specific foods and such can mess up blood and urine tests. For instance poppy seads like you find on hamburger buns can make you test positive for heroin.
