Before I worked for video games, I had never known the true meaning of the phrase "open bar". But I'm going on three years, now, and last night I exercised my right to drink lots of gin on someone else's nickel at TWO seperate parties. this morning I wake up to yet another fan-tabulous mid-week hangover. My head feels like an empty cave, my insides just feel like a big hoobajoob of pickled organs. At least my boss was drinking as hard as I, taking some of the pressure off of me to not look hungover today. Which is good, because man oh man, am I hungover.

I'm standing outside our shitty company party right now, along with everyone else. In the richest of ironies, the fire alarms started going off in the middle of the party, forcing everyone to evacuate. I find this all profoundly funny.

P.S. What part of the game industry do you work in ? Hopefully in July or August I'll have my degree in computer animation and I can get into the industry as well . I'm hoping to be a C.G. modeller or animator .
