you'd think that getting your car painted would be a pain in the ass, but you'd never expect that after paying for it that it would take 2 bloody years to get it done...
bought this really nice paint package for my car, its my baby, it's still my first car, but it's a old Mustang, '68 to be exact, so I'm slowly restoring it. got my engine finished and I was doing great, I get the paint package and boom some engine troubles, so I work on it for a while, then the old wiring finally gives out, so I replace that, 4 months later after paying for the paint job they tell me I've waited too long and i can't get it painted that I just gave up the $500 I paid. BULLSHIT. so now after fighting them for a year and a half over the issue they finally said 'hey we'll do it for you, and we are sooo sorry we didn't do it earlier" so after I get the insides cleaned out by the end of the day I should have it in the paint shop by the end of the day.
New paint means I can put the new interior I bougth a year ago into the car...things are finally clicking into place.
