ok starting off I had nothing to eat all day, so I start this situation starving...
I go into work at 2 pm, it's a cruise kinda day...
5:45 rolls around and it's my 30 min break time, I do a last check on the projectors and leave.
I come back from my break to find one of the prints is running backwards on the platter because of static, which means it's getting tighter and tighter in the projector and it will snap... so I spend the next 30 min spinning the middle by hand hoping to catch up to where it should be. when I'm literally two minutes from getting it fixed, it finally catches tearing the sprocket holes out of the print and shreding about a foot long section of the movie...stop the movie, give out refunds. cut the bad section out, put it back together and start rewinding it quick to be able to be able to make it intime for the next showing so we don't have to cancel that and lose more money. but by this point the print is off balance and spinning that fast flings the remainding chunk of the movie onto the floor, tangling it all, up....needless to say another 30 min...I make it in time for the next show with 3 min to spare. only to be told by my manager "sit here and watch it for the entire movie to make sure it doesn't do it again or that the tangling didn't make it worse." so I sat there for the next 2 hours watching the movie spin around on the platter. after all that finishes my boss says he needs to me stay late to help him clean up a mess that one of the other guys didn't clean up before he left.
so 40 min over my time I should be home, I'm driving up my street and for some ungodly reason I start losing power and my engine dies going up the hill....unusual, but it's cold, and my engine needs to warm up alot before it works right....so I start it again....boom dies again...start...dies...start....lather rinse repeat...took me 5 min to get up a 50 foot stretch of hill..I finally had to back down the hill and then charge back up it, with no problems...
I feel like punching someone in the face, this is such a opposite of the great night I had last night.
