ahh. today was a stressful day. it started out good. i actually took the time to fix my hair and put make-up on and get dressed....only to have ephraim puke on me not even an hour later resulting in a wardrobe change. but how could i be mad at this little face?
canon..sigh..what a ball of energy! i pretty much had to pin him down to the ground with my legs to get him to take a picture with me.
he is just go go go go go all the time. cah-razy.
i've gotten all kinds of wonderfull things in the mail lately.
two little beetles hemp original fitted diapers that i bought used off of some lady on diaperswappers. one is blue and the other is green. they are TOO cute, but still not as absorbant as i'd like, but that's okay, cause i also got 18 4 layer hemp jersey doublers in the mail that i got off ebay for only $20!!!!! that is a freaking STEAL!!!!! i'm still waiting on one more diaper. a muttaquin that i bought off ebay weeks ago and still haven't received. i emailed her asking if it had shipped but she hasn't emailed me back.
it cleared my paypal account over a week ago so i had better either be getting a diaper or getting my money back.
i also got my new ellaroo wrap
so now i have *two rings slings- one padded, one not padded *a mei-tai and a *wraparound carrier.....i love it. it's great for when i am hanging out at people's houses and will be needing to take the baby in and out, but built for more comfort for longer carriers unlike a ring sling. i just like two shoulder carries better.....though i do use my ring slings for hip carries around the house.
i'm on this group here and we had a secret sister swap this month and my sister got me a set of Denise Interchangable Knitting Needles.
swoon i can't wait to try them out!!! but what should i make?? i need more soakers..i'm almost finished on the one i'm making for canon. it just needs one more leg and the middle seamed up, but i really love my addi turbo for that....but i guess i could give it a try anyways and switch if it's going to slow.
sigh....i am suddenly very tired.
i am so lucky. i get to talk to john almost every day. he always sounds so tired and sad. i want to get together a care package to send to him as soon as we get a bit of money. i know he wants me to send him his laptop case and a carton of smokes...but what else should i send?
