okay. i have decided the baby needs to come out by monday. hubby will be in the field basically all of next week doing training and i don't want to go into labor alone with my 1 year old.
i have an appointment with my midwife tomorrow, but i'm not too optmistic about it. how much progress could i possible have made? i've already been 4cm for a week now...i guess i could make it up to 100% effaced, but i am just not having contractions. i NEED those contractions!!!! i NEED for my water to break! i NEED to get this child out of me before my husband leaves me for a week!
i am past the point of being excited. now i am just feeling impotent cause people keep saying "oh it will be this weekend/the week/etc..." and it never is, and then i just get bummed cause i get all psyched up and nothing ends up happening. talk about an anti-climax.
i'm doing everything i know to try and kick-start things in that direction, but he just doesn't want to come out.
