i worked 12 hours today. That was gross. I have two jobs, one at a coffee shop as a barista, and a second as a server at a barbecue restaurant. The barista job is a lot of fun, I just started there about a month and a half ago, and I'm really enjoying learning about coffee and how to make coffee drinks. The waiting job though can suck my dick. Seriously, fuck that place. I made 11 dollars tonight in 4 hours. What. The. Fuck. Waste of my damn time.

Changes in my life have been hitting me in overdrive over the past couple days. I've been working on getting myself back into school, and I applied to the University of Central Arkansas as well as the University of Colorado in Boulder. I had ideally wanted to go to CU because my family is in Denver and, frankly, Colorado is way fuckin' cooler than small town Arkansas. Turns out though shit didn't work out with my application to CU so I'll be attending UCA here in January. It's not all bad I guess, I have a good job, some cool friends, and a great gym to train at.

Speaking of the gym, I went to an MMA event last night. First live fights I've ever been to. There were like... 21 fights on the card, I think? It wasn't really anything special. To be honest, going to the fights and watching the amateurs was honestly a confidence booster for me. Seeing some of the ineptitude these guys showed off really made me believe I could get in the ring with the right preparation before the fight, even at my skill level now. The main reason I went though was to support our guy who was making his pro debut at the fights. He put so much work into them, and we really wanted to see him win, but that just wasn't in his cards last night, he lost by TKO in the first round.

Lastly, who else has been following the Wikileaks story? I am in love with Julian Assange. I'd gladly go gay for that man, he is such a stud. In all seriousness though, what Wikileaks is doing right now is downright heroic and earth shaking. What they are doing will revolutionize this world and lead it down a brighter path. They've also inspired me to pursue a career (hopefully) in free speech and information sharing advocacy, as well as net neutrality.

I LOVE WIKILEAKS! FREE JULIAN ASSANGE!
