Update on the burglary:
The great London Metropolitan Police Force has lived up to its reputation of being utterly shite when it comes to dealing with property crime. Not only has no-one been round to my building to speak to the other residents in case someone else heard or saw something but when I called them on Thursday they had also managed to loose the list I gave them of the items that had been stolen.
Useless fuckers.
The insurance company has also proved to be a complete waste of time demanding a 100 excess from me before they would replace any of my belongings. After consulting my parents (it doesnt matter how old you are they're still wiser than you) I told the insurance company not to bother. My dad is replacing my camera and I'll just have to live without an MP3 player for a while.
My holiday fund has taken a severe pounding. I had to use it to pay the emergency locksmith and replace all my jewellery which was also stolen. I felt naked walking around Camden without a nose ring in yesterday. So the upshot of this is I wont be going anywhere until September at least. I couldnt even muster beer money for the SGUK meet last night.
This month has soundly sucked. I can't wait for it to be over.
