I've been sneezing and sniffing all morning. Bloody hayfever.

I had plans to do a bit of a spring clean today but that got scuppered by my spur of the moment decision to have a go at making my first Thai red curry for lunch. It came out rather well and I scoffed the lot.

Now I'm going to relax for a while with a good book. I'll think about the housework in a couple of hours.

I got the housework done, well most of it. Scrubbed the hob, scrubbed the bathroom and kitchen floors, bathroom sink, hoovered the carpets, polished the coffee table, washed down all the kitchen cupboard doors, washed the sofa cushions, washed the kitchen bin (urgh) and scrubbed the toilet (double urgh). Cleaned the TV screen as well. Good God that was a revelation.

Tomorrow will involve the rather uninspiring jobs of cleaning the oven and fridge and doing battle with a fresh duvet cover.

Fear my domestic skills! I may not use them very often, as anyone who remembers my journal entry on the topic of washing up liquid will already know, but when I start woe betide anyone who stands in my way!
