Post birthday-party journal update:
I was sober all night again, unlike these two apparently:
It was a very civilised evening all round really, despite Bateman's best attempts at drunken behaviour. (see photo album). Myself and Bateman arrived at 6pm to get in some early drinking and sat across the pub from SomeoneUK and Kibagirl for a full ten minutes before realising they were there.
But they did produce possibly the best present ever for SuicideDoggie who turned up just past 7pm and persuaded me, against my better judgement to drink rum. 
Met some great new people, Tarqu1n (as gorgeous as his photos), Hermes (science-fiction Overlord) and Saintadatha who presented me with an amazing mix CD as a birthday present. Thank you.
Leola and Ttrent were also in attendance, proving that they are still the most beautiful couple on planet earth and Forkandles and Adthrawn arrived fashionably late as usual.
As usual, I didnt get to speak to everyone. Big apologies to Celeste for completely failing to chat to her all night, except on my way out the door.
I know a couple of people on the site are aware of this but I have a phobia of crowded spaces and when I get stressed I have a tendancy to black out. When I had to run to the ladies half way through a chat to SuicideDoggie about Carravagio because I could feel all the blood rushing from my head I figured it was time to leave. My black outs sometimes include Exorcist levels of twitching, eye rolling and throwing up and they are not something I would wish on friends, let alone people I've only just met so I apologise for wimping out and doing a runner.
Hopefully I'll get to speak to everyone next time round.

Hey! Glad you survived intact...sounds like a cool night,despite the sudden exit....I sympathise on that score btw, Ive got MPD/DID,so I get the whole headache twitchy thing,with the added bonus of a different personality making an appearance afterwards-consequentally,getting drunk can be a lil too interesting! Sounds like you had a good time tho....just off to check yr photos...
