Winamp is having an attack of good taste this evening. So far it's selected:

Moby - New Dawn Fades
Animals - House of the Rising Sun
Staind - It's Been A While
Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams
Rob Dougan - I'm Not Driving Anymore (Don't be fooled by the fact that this guys album is filed under Dance in the record shops folks. It's fucking dark. Buy it!)

I've always thought that Winamp is in some way psychically in-tune with it's owner. It always seems to know the kind of mood I'm in and selects appropriate music apparently all on its own. It's completely neglected all my Zero7, Cinematic Orchestra and Prince tracks and gone right for the bitter and twisted stuff tonight.

I began to have my suspicions that there was more to that programme than met the eye when it insisted on selecting "Crap Shag" by Mitch Benn every time my ex-flatmate was fucking his girlfriend.
