Why is it that when I actually meet someone I quite like I can never quite muster up enough courage to tell them?
I've been single for a year, and quite comfortably so. After the last train wreck of a relationship I had, and the ensuing rebound catastrophe, I felt it was better for me to have some time off from men in general.
Did my Masters. (Criminal Law. A great way to exhaust yourself). Took my parents on holiday because they deserved it and just generally turned myself into a bit of a hermit.
Now, I've met someone I'd like to get to know better and what am I doing about it?? Sweet FA that's what. I'm risking them slipping away from me cos I'm such a big bloody chicken.

you say that this guy is great, but if you arent ready, you arent ready. trust yourself. if that means its time, then go for it. if youre not ready, then dont do it.

i say this because i would rather drop a 16 lb. bowling ball on my crotch that date anyone right now, and i find myself being tempted. so i know.
