Grapes!
While the applications for jobs keep going out, my afternoons for the last two days have been spent in the backyard on building trellaces for the grapevines. Although we have had apple, pear, plum and peach trees for as long as I can remember, my brother decided to put a grape vine cutting in the ground three years ago. According to how grapevines grow, this is the year we can expect major growth and an abundance of grapes. So far this month there has been a lot of sunshine and the vines have been growing so fast that trellice extensions were needed.
It's amazing how fast they grow, even in one day!
