What a fun blog homework from @Rambo & @lyxzen! I would like to say that dividing my personality into three fictional characters would be a hard task but fortunately (or is it unfortunately) for me it's not.
It seems my personality has always seemed easily divided into what drives the most basic human fears and desires, I by no means consider myself a complicated soul.
Sweep
Sweep is my spirit animal.
Sweep comes from the children's TV program the Sooty show about a bear names Sooty who doesn't speak and can do magic, a panda named Sue who can talk, is fierce and intelligent, and Sweep who can only squeak noises and who is considered the dunce of the group.
Despite how he is perceived by the others in the show, no matter how many times he gets himself into trouble, or how often he fails at tasks in which the others excell, Sweep still continues to prove time again he has a lot else to offer; his daring in adversity, the ability to laugh at himself and a heart of gold.
Sweep even once revealing the secret that he is the mysterious Superdog, a hero who can hear and fly to the cries of those in need!
Donna Noble
When I first started watching Doctor Who I knew that I loved the show right from the start, but finding a character that I connected with, or saw a little of myself in, was a difficulty. I was no Rose Tyler, and as much as I wished I was I am no Doctor. That's when Donna entered... and I was in love.
Donna would often refer to herself as 'just a Temp' but she went on to become the doctors best friend, she taught him new things and kept him in line. Donna not only changed the Doctor, she saved the world and did it all while being her uncompromising self.
Let's not kid ourselves, even her grandfather Bernard Cribbins is everyone's favourite non-companion character ❤️
Mugen
Mugen is from my favourite anime Samurai Champloo. Mugen is the temperamental and unhinged antihero of the series and a fiery anarchist. I see so much of my younger myself is him and although I've soften my actions over the years, I still have the fight in my heart.
Mugen's main motivations are no more than food, fighting, winning and women. He cares not for the government, the law, for work, riches or for doing what anybody else tells him is the right thing to do. He stays true to himself and to his few alliances.
I think his words spoke as loud as his actions when he said "I don't believe in anyone but me and what I can do" and "You can make all the excuses you want, but you're the one who decided how to live your life."
Most little girls fantasise of one-day becoming the Little Mermaid or Belle, finding her prince and living happily ever after, but this youngen found themselves dreaming more of adventures to the likes of John Carter or Robin Hood! All I ever wanted were the essentials, and a good story to tell at the end of my years.
Give me freedom, food and companionship any day.
