So i figured out how to tell my mom that she's gonna be a grandma by the end of the year.
I made up/ordered a photobook for her this morning. It starts with pictures of her when she was my age, before she got married and before i was born and one with her and her mother. Then moves into pics of me and her, me and my grandparents, all as a baby and little kid. Then it moves to my high school years, pics of me and her, and then on to college and now. Sort of like the whole journey we've taken. I've called it from daughter to mother because that shows not only her transformation but my own. The last page of the book has a picture of a stork on it delivering a baby, underneath the stork it says Coming November 2008! and at the top of the page it says from mother to grandmother, from daughter to mother.
I'll give it to her probably the day before my wedding as an early mother's day gift. She has promised to be at least one day in advance to help me out so that' the best time, cause after that i probably won't see her until the baby is born unless she quits her job which i really don't see happening. And i think if she's going to see that final page then i need to be there with her, not over the phone.
