last night i deleted my character in FFXI, i also cancelled my account and deleted the entire game from my computer....
i haven't been on in about a month... and it's been 2 months since i really did anything in the game. It's hard when 98% of the people you come across are total assholes (well that's how they were on my server anyway). So it wasn't really worth the monthly fee just so that i could keep it around in case i felt like playing again.
So i sold all of my items/possessions/gear to a merchant, and ended up giving 142K to my one actual friend in the game. he seemed happy enough. sure i could have given him the items to sell and make a lot more... i had all the top gear for my levels, 2 nobel beds (those go for over 100K each), and a bunch of rare items... i'm not gonna lie about it, i was really good at the game.
so this morning max downloaded a 10 day free trail of WoW for me and for him... i don't think i'll be keeping it past the 10 days though.
So i need a new game... any suggestions???
