So a bit of an update on this i suppose beings as it's 2:30am and i'm still awake... ugh, it was way too hot today. anyway, today was going pretty shitty and i was having second thoughts about the space and science center... i mean it would cost us over a grand just for the ceremony... So i asked max and we decided to move it. luckily we hadn't put down the deposit yet or signed the contract. We were thinking.... where would be the best place for an anime themed wedding.... the mall was a big one cause we could try for hmv (either outside on their stage or inside on the second floor in front of the anime section) or inside chapters perhaps... and then max thought of a comic book store. We remembered happy harbor from free comic book day. really nice people, tons of room, really nice set-up. So i checkout out their webpage and there was a number to call them to book event space.
max got a hold of the owner and told him that we wanted to have our wedding there... the guy apparently was like OMG really? that's so awesome. apparently we are the first to ask about getting married there. and it totally fits, i mean an anime theme surrounded by comic books and graphic novels and manga. We are going in to set up a plan for everything on the 15th. i'm so excited. We really are going to have a unique wedding. now i just need to find a place for the reception and we're set!
on another note can you please wish me good luck that my amazon.ca order comes in tomorrow... i'm getting really mad at them. this is the second shipment in a row that hasn't gotten to my address. and online tracking is telling me some really fucked up shit right now. i gotta call tomorrow morning.
