It's 12:30am right now, and i'm taking a break from cleaning... it started innocently enough in my kitchen. I noticed the towels on the counter were needing to be replaced (i put down towels cause it keeps the counter tops cleaner and protects them from the heat of pots and pans when i cook), and turned to realize that i had no clean ones....
laundry has been done a lot lately because i'm scared to go into the basement and max forgets... i mean he put the living room blankets in the washer on sunday... monday threw them into the dryer... and i pulled them out tonight. he didn't pull them apart just left them clumped/rolled together so they are still pretty damp.
So anyway, that led me to thinking that if i used the little towels to clean the counter tops and the stovetop then i could just throw them all in the laundry at once. So i had to pull out the cleaning supplied and search for the little towels.
there is also a leak coming from somewhere inside my fridge... it's been like this for the entire time we've lived here.... anyway, the one in there was soaked and starting to drip so i had to use the least dirty towel to replace it until the laundry is done.
there was also a pile of clothes in the bedroom... near the window that myth likes to sleep on... a few were really wet and they all had this gross smell to them... i have no idea what it's from. i don't think it's myth cause well i clean up after her and yea. So they had to be washed too.
And some dishes had to be done in time to make supper so i had to do that. It's good though, it's keeping me awake... i got zero sleep last night and had to be up early to go veiw a place for the wedding.
ohh and i got into another fight with my mother over the phone. stuff that i've told her many times (including 2 days ago) she doesn't remember me saying (even though she agreed at the time).... so she got really pissed at me. then she phones me back 5 minutes later to tell me that max and i need to pick a place for the reception... a resturant of some sort and that they'll pay for it.
I told her no, and not just because i was still pissed at her. She isn't understanding that we are doing this ourselves, so that we get things the way that we want. and come on there will be endless bitching from them over having to pay for 20 people. Anyway, i stood my ground and brad got pissed. Should be interesting considering that he hasn't even found out that there will be no alcohol and that smoking isn't allowed in the telus world of science building. haha.
ohh well i am in a much better mood as of about 5 seconds ago.... i checked my bank account, the money came through.... we applied for a line of credit to deal with all deposits cause we don't have that money lieing around.... and we were approved but the bank fucked up and sent us the cheques and set up the account without having us sign anything... so we didn't have any money in it. and then there was confusion cause papers were never sent and bla bla bla... anyway, it was supposed to be done this morning and i was kinda getting scared cause nothing showed up yet and we have to pay the deposit on the venue tomorrow... and monday i meet with the photographer and have to put money down on that too. Anywayz, the universe is wonderful and it's there now so i can get what need done and i can pay all the bills i need to. yay.
Ohh and if anyone has any pics/ideas for an anime themed wedding cake (more on the romantic side but still unusual and really cool think romantic meets the mad hatters tea party) please let me know. thanks guys.
