So i talked with my landlord today.. fuck i hate dealing with them. Even though the entire place is run by women they are completely sexist. Seriously, they NEVER listen to me and treat me like the stupid girl. Max makes one phone call and everything is handled. I have to make several and then have max phone them. whatever.
Anywayz, what it comes down to is that the matinence guy just started on tuesday... but the last guy quit abruptly and it took over 2 weeks to get this guy in. So there is a lot of work piled up on his desk. So even though i was promised it would be taken care of by this morning at the very latest that's now been moved up to anytime in the next week or so.
And the kicker... cause he's the new guy someone has to be there to show him what's going on and explain shit cause nothing is really written down and he has so much work to be done. good lord. So i can't take the job, which works a bit better anyway cause it means i can keep an eye on myth and not have her locked up in a room all day where she gets restless and way too hot and makes a lot of noise.
Ohh by the way max and i might be moving at the beginning of sept. Because of being pissed off today by the idiots here i decided to look around online at something closer to max's work and found 4 diff townhouses on the south side. the rent is within our budget, they all allow pets (YES!!) and have fenced in backyards with patios. And on top of that they come with a washer and a dryer. For the ones we are looking we would be able to move in on sept 1, which would mean that we'd have a month to get everything out of here and clean it up. I have to do some calling tomorrow, but right now things sound good.
So anyway that's an update. damn it's been a long day
