Today is freakin awesome!
It's super windy here in edmonton and rain clouds keep coming in. Myth is going to the vet today so she'll be all caught up with her shots and we'll be able to find out how much it will cost to declaw her and spay her.
Ohh and in the first part of big news, myth will have a new brother and sister on saturday. We're adopting 2 almost 5 year old cats from a woman here in edmonton. She can't keep them anymore and somehow i was drawn to contacting her and she managed to like me best out of everyone who wanted to take them. And as for how things are turning today i know that it was a message i was supposed to get and it's a step in the right direction. Their names are Tristan and Belle, and they come with litter boxes, food, litter, and a huge scratching post that was built for them. So now myth won't be lonely when i go to work.
and should be a nice little surprise for max. haha. I told him that i was going to try to take them, but I don't think he was listening to me as per usual... he was on his comp at the time... ohh well. He said sure it'd be fine. And it's not like he has to do any of the taking care of. I'm the one that takes care of them... i do all the cleaning and feeding and walking and shit. so yea.
Which brings me to my next bit of big news.... I got offered a job a half hour ago. And a really good one. It's for registration at the college & association of registered nurses of alberta. It's $13.50 an hour (so after taxes i'll be making just under 2 grand per month... which rocks cause max will be making 3 grand per month teehee!), the hours work for juggling the car between max and I. And I get my own office!!!! which is apparently a rather big one. So that income, combined with max's is definitly enough to take care of us. I go in to meet the boss tomorrow. It's a temp job but if you pass the 2 month probation it becomes permanent.
And mom is coming in today to give me and myth a ride to the vet and she's also staying over night so that she will give me a ride to the meeting tomorrow. And my building has a new maintenance guy (hopefully he's a nicer one) and he's coming by either tomorrow or wednesday to replace the element in my oven. I'm really hoping for tomorrow, or at least that i don't start work until at least thursday cause i have to hide myth while he's here and i don't want to leave her locked up in our bedroom for the whole day... but if i have to i have to i guess.
Anywayz, i'm really happy now. I guess the universe finally got my letter and things are starting to look up. Thank you.
