Why is it that every time it seems that things are going to start to work out something comes in and fucks up the entire operation?
Max's boss comes up to him today and tells him that he has to work tomorrow from 5am until 9pm (16 hours) and if he doesn't he's fired. Also he won't be getting overtime pay for the extra hours, and apparently because they don't like giving out overtime pay he hasn't been recieving it for the overtime he works every day.
He's been there for under 3 months so if he gets fired they don't have to give him notice or pay him severens..
but i doubt they would anyway beings as they aren't doing anything else that's legal for alberta employment standards. legally they can't make him work past 12 hours, and anything after 8 hours has to be paid with overtime pay. But no, they aren't working that way and if he doesn't show up tomorrow he's fired.
