Today really turned it'self around... This morning it seemed as though it was gonna be one of those days where everything goes wrong. Luckily whoever planned that disaster screwed up and it turned out to be pretty damn good.
It's 12:32 am. I just got home from seeing the movie whos trailer is above this writing. Pan's Labyrinth.... it's dark, twisted, scary as fuck, gorey, subtitled, mystic,.... that doesn't begin to sum it up. It was a REAL fairy tale, and ORIGINAL. For most that doesn't tend to mean much, but i know. Read the original cinderella and you'll learn that fairy tales should never have been heard by children. Meant to teach a lesson in the most horrific of ways.... Maybe that's why i liked it so much... for being something so far out of our realm, into imagination, it wasn't all butterflys and rainbows.... it was real.
And sadly it was the last showing of the movie in theatres in edmonton for now. wait a couple months, it will be back somewhere, or there's always rentals and payperview.
So now to keep myself awake i'm going to drown myself in coffee and sometime in the next little bit probably put on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies (you know where they still eat pizza, act like children, and rafael doesn't take shit from anyone) and bake cinnamon buns.
Another good point about today, i got to meet the very lovely Devika. She kicks ass and we all knowz it. and honestly, it's nice to have a friend in edmonton besides the acquaintances, and max and pets. Yesm girlie, we will most definitly hang out
Tomorrow will be interesting, and i'm not sure yet how it will go. Since i'm not sleeping there's no need to wake up early... as i would be. My parent's are in town. My stepdad's having his pre-op all day tomorrow, it's gonna be at least a 7 hour ordeal. A part of me thinks i should feel bad for him, but the rest of me is laughing. I'm terrible, i know, but when it comes to that man.... there are no good feelings left. Anywayz, he's having his arm amputated so they need to make sure everything is gonna be ok, and mom needs to give me a bag of my brother's clothes that he forgot to take with him....so i'm meeting mom at the timmys lineup at the royal alec sometime tomorrow morning... my guess is i'll probably get free coffee out of it. which will be nice beings that no sleep tonight isn't going to be helpful...
and i'm powerleveling this guy in my linkshell tomorrow afternoon... he wants his white mage to get to level 10. I'm not sure why... maybe it's for the tele abilities, the raising ability, or the money making quaruntees from those 2 things combined. My only suggestion... offer tele's in Sandy cause good lord no one is nice enough there to do it now. And you can make a stable 10000 gil from one to holla, which is really a waste of money. But hey i'm not gonna stand in your way if you wanna give me gil....
that reminds me i have to run my ass to jeuno to put the astral ring up for sale...

And then max has a job interview at Waste Management.... he doesn't really want it, but he's going anywayz. So i'm going along to wait in the car and read as i normally do. maybe nap. lol
