Lady Stardust
Ziggy played guitar they say
He was himself in every way
Tried not to let them beat him down
In the end succumbed but never frowned
The world needs more of him
To laugh and light the way
To bring joy to our hearts
And prove that being different
Can do more then get you through another day
Even though he fell apart
Up by the spotlights glow
Always to himself
Forever he stayed true
I wish I had the strength
To face the dieing crowds
To be unlike the major tom
Who fell from space through the stars above
He who fell from grace
And let it all go for more then just a day
I am lady stardust
Dancing in the night
A spaced out little dreamer
She who turns darkness into light
I wrote that little over a year ago... it's still one of my faves... like number 2. i'll post my alltime fave one tomorrow for anyone who wants to read it. I have to leave for work in about 40 mins... ugh. well today shouldn't be as boring.. there is one practitioner in after all. And i ahve to figure out what i'm going to do with the giant box of apples that max got.... a friend of his went apple picking and he said that i would use them for baking... so if anyone wants anything made let me know. haha. On another note (and i'm sorry to those summer lovers out there but) i really miss winter. and here's why:
I love the cold... and the snow tends to mask over the darkness of the world with a radiant beautifulness shown through sparkly white snowflakes. Everything is pretty and strangers smile to one another as they pass in the streets because that is the general tone for the season. I can't wait to have that back. Especially the first day that it snows all day, non stop, and the whole city is misty and white and freezing and most people are bitching because it's snowing and they weren't expecting it.
