tarnish

Yesterday was awesome! Work went pretty well, then I waited at home for Derek to get back from work so we could venture out to the home of DCLXVI and homewrecker. Let me just say that they are both so fucking AWESOME!!!! I haven't had so much fun just hanging out in what seems like forever. They totally pampered us, never before has there been a better host and hostess. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I can't wait to hang out with you two again!


Derek and I went to church this morning. Going to church after not having gone in so long, always makes me feel uncomfortable and out of place. But today wasn't so bad. We got to visit Derek's grandma's garden that the church planted in her honor. It's so beautiful. It used to seem so dreary, but now it is alive with vibrant color. It warms my heart.

After church we came home for an hour, smoked a bowl and then headed out to my grandparents house. It was cool to see all my relatives, and of course my grandma had a feast prepared. After that we went to Derek's uncles house, and I ended up outside talking with his brothers girlfriend the entire time, while everyone else was inside playing penny card games. Derek's mom got us both Easter baskets, she's so fun. She's the best mother-in-law a girl could ask for.
