Well, it's been interesting at home. Looking for a place of my own now. Things haven't been bad, just a little awkward. It will be good to finally have my own place and not feel so weird being around Derek all the time. He's still my bestie, and has even been really supportive of me going out and seeing people. Offering advice and encouragement. It still hurts that we are so close and yet I can't touch or kiss him like I used to. But in time and with space, I think we will both be able to handle the separation much better.
