tarnish

I had an interview today at old navy. And by interview I mean, I waited around for half an hour for the manager to tell me he wasn't willing to work with my gamestop schedule. Basically it was a big waste of time.

No biggie though, gamestop is going to promote me soon, so I don't really need another job. I was just keeping my options open. Besides, the old navy that interviewed me, isn't the one I wanted to work at anyway.

My easter weekend was nuts. I worked Fri./Sat./Sun, then had to leave work on Sunday to go visit with two sets of family. It was nice to see them all, but I was so worn out that I couldn't communicate properly, lol. But Dereks gramma hooked me up with a birthday check, so that rocked.

Speaking of grandparents, I didnt hear from my dads parents on my birthday, I know I should call them, but the only time I usually have free is late at night, and since I don't have LD calling on my home phone, and derek usually takes his cell to work with him, I can't call them when I home during the day. I miss them,


how was your easter weekend? Did the easter bunny visit you? Did you hunt for eggs?

The neighbors had an easter-egg hunt in their backyard at around 7:30 in the morning. We have really super thin walls, and our bed is on the side of the house that is closest to their yard. So derek and I were roused from our sleep at the crack of dawn by the sound of about 15 small children screaming and shouting about easter eggs and candy. Grumpy is an understatment
