ughhhhhh, i feel like crap. and of course it had to happen on my day off. heh.
im sure most of you already saw it, but I shot a new set for my hubby dEREKTheRed, and we posted it in the BCB group. If you havent seen it, you should check it out, he's freakin' adorable.
Well, things at my jobs are going OK. Gamestop is getting better everyday, while avenue is almost the opposite. I personally have issues with managers who don't hire enough people so that if one gets ill or injured, no one else can cover for them, even when giving 6 hours notice of the fact that they are unable to work. Maybe that's just me though.
Since things aren't really working out as well as I'd hoped at the Avenue, I'm thinking of looking into Old Navy. A friend of mine works there, and she says they are looking for cashiers. Cashiers there get paid 9 bucks an hour, which is more than I would be getting even if I got promoted at either gamestop, or avenue. So hopefully that works out. If not, I've decided I would like to work briefly in a porn shop.
Expecting a hefty tax return, and we'll be putting that to good use, paying off the car, getting our plumbing worked on, Derek might get a new computer, and I would like to FINALLY start my chest piece.
I do have a funny story. The other day at gamestop, this guy comes in looking to buy, Trauma Center for the DS. Trauma Center is a very anime style operation game. You play as a doctor who has some gift of healing, and in this game you perform operations using the touch screen and stylus(it's really a lot of fun). When explaining the game to the guy, he suddenly shouts "Ohh yeah! And you can like, sodomize the veins and stuff too, right?!" to which I replied "You mean cauterize, and yes."
Not sure what was on his mind, or if he even realized what he said, but I know I, and my store manager(along with a few stray customers), had a hearty laugh, at that guys expense.
