tarnish

the job hunt is on once more. I had to take a little hiatus due to some issues with my bad foot, and just feeling, really, really shitty, but it's on now. I'm hoping to get a retail job in a clothing store. I don't really want to work at old navy, but I will if they'll have me. I'm really hoping to the Avenue though. *crosses fingers* derek is taking me Sunday to turn them all in.

Our plumbing is fucked up. The drain in our shower is clogged, and last time that happened it took forever to get in touch with anyone to help us fix it, so we ended up snaking the bitch ourselves. I think it's actually a bigger problem than that. I think that the roots from the Giant orange tree in our yard is fucking with all sorts of things, but no one listens to me.

I love my hair color. It looks so awesome in the sunlight. Hell even in the shade it's pretty vibrant, as you can see from my profile pic. I haven't been inspired to take pictures lately. Not of myself anyway, but if other people want me to take theirs, I will.

Oh yeah. Remember that photoshoot I was talking about a few journals ago? Well, she submitted it, and it got accepted! YAY! I'm going to be a published photographer. Rock on!

I've been experimenting with lighting, and coming up with some interesting things. I just with I had a subject to shoot. My dog is SO deathly afraid of my camera. But he's just a pussy. he's afraid of the remote for the tv, pretty much anything you stick in front of him besides food, he'll run and hide from. So he's kinda out of the question, and I think derek would be fine with me taking his picture, as long as he could play WOW while I did it. hah. Damn this being so far away from my peeps.

Well, i'm off to prepare from food stuffs for dinner. Don't know what that will be yet, but it'll be something.
