When derek came home today he was so upset he was shaking and had tears in his eyes. Apparently while he was at work, two kids came in, and were looking around for more than a half hour. This is not uncommon for kids to do in a videogame store. They left, and came back about a half hour later, and were asking about the gameboy micro. They wanted to see the different colors. So Derek sat two of them on the counter in front of him, just out of reach of the kids. Well, one of them asked if he could see it, and derek let him, and everything was fine until the kid asked how much they were. Derek told them, and the one holding it said "Cool, I can get one with my birthday money next month." and the other said "I can get one right now." and snatched the other one off the counter and ran out of the store. The other one ran after him with the one he was holding.

That right there, is why i hate kids. Pretty much from age 8-18, they are fucking bastards. I know this, because I was one. And I learned the hard way, which i hope these kids will too. Derek didn't get in trouble, but if I had of been there, not only would i have been fired, I would be arrested for the brutal murders of two punk ass kids.


On top of that, Derek had an insufficient funds fee(which is total and complete bullshit, since we had money in our account up until yesterday, and he got paid TODAY) for 100 bucks, leaving us with 300. Which sucks since we now have a car payment, and we owe his mom some money. HOPEFULLy his mom will let us slide, she should, dereks brother owes her three grand, and we only owe her a hundred bucks. But still, this is no way to start a weekend. And to top it off, Derek feels like shit that our anniversary is tomorrow, and not only can he not afford to take us out for the night, he has to work the closing shift, because his boss is going to a concert.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about going out, but I was hoping to spend the day with him, and that's not going to happen.

I guess I spoke too soon when I told artsaves1228 that things were just starting to look up for us. I should have knocked on wood.

On a lighter note, my foot feels a whole lot better today. i'm barely limping at all.
