Hello all my SG friends...
Wanted to drop in and leave you all a note to wish you all the Very Very best for a safe and crazy fun New Years Eve and I hope you all have a year in 2009 which brings you nothing but joy, prosperity, and the love of great people around you!!!!
I know that the vast majority of my post's in the past have been some form of political rant of one form or another but for once, at least once in a very long time, I am able to look at what lays ahead and all I see is the amazing prospect for a truly better and more just nation. It is largely due to the generation of folks here on SG that took the huge step forward for this country and chose to elect a president not on superficial issues or political stunts or hyperbole but truly based on the measure of the person as to how he would care for and treat his fellow citizens.
I am remarkably optimistic and am choosing to not engage in debates with those who can not let go of their fear, hate, or need to find fault and the bad view of any issue. You all have made me so damn proud, so damn hopeful, and so damn grateful.. I love you all... Happy New Year !!!!!!!!!!!!!
