I've just spent the last 3 days working on the same friggin' project. I have to do an oral presentation about the similarities between native canadian culture and australian aboriginal culture. i didnt go out on friday night, stayed home, worked on this oral, then grabbed some milk n cookies and went to bed and watched harry potter. saturday i went to a launch party for my friends 2nd zine Lickety Split, a smut zine, and enjoyed the burlesque show at the end. Afterwards i went to Cock n Bull to meet up with my drunkard brother and hang out with some of the jersey kids i'll be working with in seaside heights this summer. Today I spent the vast majority of my time working on this oral (again!) - it only has to be 10 minutes but i've put in HOURS of work, i'm having serious issues getting this done. I did however realise through the research process that my own sense of spirituality is pretty much the entire concept of aboriginal Dreamtime, which was really settling. I have no "religion" to speak of so its comforting to know that there is a whole belief system out there that u can relate to. Tonight i made a sculpture out of this really cool powdered paper which when combined with water makes a papier mache for sculpture. Very Cool material! And after this i have to decide between watching Before Night Falls or Sense and Sensibilty. Arg. 2 totally different genres...what am i in the mood for?

yeah i'm in china now, but i have the summer off and will be home from like the end of june till like the beginning of sept. so i have plenty of time to go do some shit and hang out with the crew and that so it should be pretty dope
