Columbine all over again today. There was a shooting at a college this afternoon, right down the street from my university. 4 people are dead. About 20 odd people in hospital. I couldn't take the metro to get to my bus so I had to walk. On the way I saw people crying, people really freaked out. Police were everywhere. This must be what columbine felt like. Its all over the news. This is soooo wierd.

I really took for granted how safe I thought this city was. Montreal is an amazingly diverse place with something for everyone. I always heard about those shootings in schools and naiively thought that something like that would NEVER happen here. Was I ever wrong. This is so fucked up. Can't really get my head aound it right now...
