so today i found a mouse

i was at work and friday lunch is hectic at the best of times
then diners in th beer garden draw my attention to a mouse, which i rapidly chuckd a towel over and removed from inside the venue.
i took it out to the carpark and let it go in the bush out the back, it didn't run away though! it just stayed where it was and i fell in love, it was the cutest little thing ever (photos later)
i realised that it wasn't a feral mouse, or rat, it was a spinifex hopping mouse (don't ask me how i knew this lol i spend too much time at the zoo i think!!) anyway, being native wildlife, and very far from anything "home" i couldn't just leave it there around all our rat bait at work!
i called the wildlife ppl and they asked if i could take it to some bushland... i said yes. (work hated me)
just at that moment, like a true angel, B walked thru the door, bless his cotton socks, and asked me if i was trying to save the world again haha i introduced him to my mouse friend and this big hulk of a man that i'm in love with started patting my little mouse friend and picked him up and started talking to it.
he was patting it and told me to get it some apple. he offered to take it to the park for me.


you know when u love someone, but sometimes they do things that just make you stare at them in amazement.
things that make you look at them and think "i am SO in love with you" this was one of those moments. no one else shared my excitement, but he was in love with my mouse friend as much as i was. it was just perfection. if i was any less in love with him this morning (which i wasn't...) i was ready to propose after the mouse incident!




and i worked at hip-e tnite, my 2nd shift, i love it there, LOVE IT i love being on the door, i love meeting new people, i love it, so much fun, best job ever! gotta go to sleep now cos i have to work my two other jobs tmro....
