blogged my brain for the last week but havent put any up here yet...
so here they are

mines? mine? lost

i drove from the airport today
an emptiness in my chest
my heartbeat void of enthusiasm once felt
tears soaking and bringing warmth to my frostbitten face

i watched the plane take him away
and felt as though i was becoming less and less
convinced i might regress to a puddle
i got in my car
and drove back home

what is home without you there?
what is sleep without my dreams?
what are my words when you're not here to listen?
what is my worth when not in your arms?

like a tidal wave
obliterating
all togetherness
i managed to maintain

i miss you

and this is only day one
