Ok, well the other day i heard of my friends going to Iraq from a different Brigade. Being a soldier and war being what i do for a living...i have it in me to crave to go. and i thought of volunteering to go. today rumors began to spread, of commander Lt Colonel Prellor, is trying to get our unit to go because we are already a combat ready unit and the unit going has been out of the combat loop. as well as the fact our mission is chaning later in the year and we wont be doing what it is we would do if the north invades. so there is a slight chance we might go to iraq...i dont know, its what i do. its a shitty job but i do what i have to.
Yea, they try and make us uphold a *standard*. we cant look like "shit heads" to the public. apparently dressing the way i have for years makes me a shit head. wow thank you freedom. i miss highschool when everything was peachy and noone gave a shit what i looked like. so they know im a soldier and they stare. im american they stare anyways. koreans in some places dont see americans all that often. so what if im have an alternative look to me when they do. its a style every where in the world.
