Okay, so I guess I should talk about what I've been up to since I left last January, and why.
NOT THAT I WASN'T FIGHTING STUFF IN SPACE BECAUSE I TOTALLY WAS
But if I hadn't been, I would've been doing this.
As you may or may not remember, I had my heart ripped to tiny shreds of pain and bitterness shortly before I left. The circumstances are complicated of course, but here's a summary:
Her: OMGZ LIKE LETS MAKE OUT ALLA TIME CAUSE I TOTALLY DIG YOU
Me: 'Kay. Leet.
Her: NEVERMIND, I WAS JUST USING YOU FOR COMFORT SINCE I GOT DUMPED
Me: ;_;
Her: BUT I WASN'T USING YOU SO LET'S BE FRIENDS
Me: You eat mine heart.
After that, I let myself sink further and further into complete apathy about nearly everything. I haven't been able to get anything done, even things I'm really passionate about. I don't know if I'm just using it as an excuse or what, but for whatever reason I haven't been able to really accomplish anything.
Well, that's not true. I'm doing a lot better now, and I went through a couple weeks where I got a lot done. I'm definitely recovering, although I didn't feel up to taking any college classes this quarter.
Other than that, not much has really happened. I've bought a bunch of movies, anime, and games. I actually, genuinely turned 18. I watched the Pete and Pete DVDs over and over and over again because they are the greatest thing ever. I visited my brother and niece. I developed a somewhat disturbing fondness for firearms, disturbing since I'm a fan of gun control. I found myself frequenting Fark and 4chan, lowering my IQ by ten and eight hundred billion points, respectively (the gun thing lowered it by 20, so it was weakened and easy prey).
I still haven't taken my SATs since I've been waiting on a doctor's report that'd let me use a computer for the writing (I write terribly slow by hand). I'm sure that'll be fun, I just love standardized tests.
The reasons I re-joined SG are very complicated, and cannot possibly be summed up in one sentence. But if they could, that sentence would be "I saw a movie with a hot girl and felt that I wasn't seeing enough naked hot girls."
