Beyond Good & Evil is like crack. Very, very well-written and awesome crack.
I got out about fifty books from the library yesterday. Most are graphic novels, but I also got a bunch of books on the myths of various cultures. Reading Lucifer and Promethea (two obscenely brilliant comics) makes me want to learn more about all these characters. I also need to get around to reading Paradise Lost. The characters of the Christian mythology have always interested me, particularly Lucifer. I'd like to someday do a story based on the Christian myths, too.
I also read the new Teen Titans graphic novel. It was really good, and it had this cool part where this character uses his super speed to read EVERY BOOK IN THE SF PUBLIC LIBRARY.
That made me realize: if I had superpowers, I'd want superspeed. That'd rock the proverbial socks.
