Went down to westport last night , on a one man mission to get pissed. It was a rainy night , and quiet , just the way I like it. I start out at Fitz's Blarney Stone where I got into a psychic duel with some bum who was planning on asking me for money but as I was the victor in the duel , he did not. Upon entry into the blarneystone there was subdued music and monday night football on the tubes , a mark against. Ordered my beer , sat looking for some interesting people to meet when the bartender decides she wants to play 50 cent on the damn jukebox. Took the dollar tip I left on the bar and left my beer 1/4 full just to help get across my point and hurried out the door , street man no where to be seen.

I next went to the Flea Market , for they have Pilzner Urquell on tap which is a rare find in MO. But sadly other than the bar keep , talk was mainly about the football game. Time to keep roving was nearing midnight hour when the freaks and the barworkers migrate to the Buzzards Beach where everyone kinda recognizes your face

The buzzard was starting to get lively so I wandered around looking at people before settling down at a table with a couple of comely lasses. Introduced ourselves asked to bum a fag offered to buy a round and Turns out as our conversation progresses that "Alison" and "Kitty" are strippers from some upscale club downtown which quickly segues into my polite rant on strip clubs (which i have never been to in the U.S. , which allowed me to talk bad about thier customers , score one for the Haken) then they brought up the change in thier customer base and that some of the girls were sluts/addicts. We conversed until they booted us out , all the while some of thier customers would come by and make amusing and clumsy advances on them and giving me dirty looks. Exchanged some numbers , gave a bit more enlightenment than I recieved , ran into a guy that worked with them that went to the same academy as me and generally had a damn good night for a change. Go me.
